Scholastic Assessment
The scholastic area is assessed through pre mid-term, mid-term, post mid-term and annual written examinations in each subject, alongside regular class work and projects.
Board Examinations — Classes X & XII
Students appear for the CBSE Board examinations at the end of Class X (All India Secondary School Examination) and Class XII (All India Senior School Certificate Examination).
- In Class X, each subject carries an 80-mark Board examination (covering 100% of the syllabus) plus 20 marks internal assessment.
- Students must secure at least 33% of the marks earmarked for internal assessment.
- Class XII follows the CBSE senior-secondary scheme of theory and practical / internal assessment for each subject.
Co-Scholastic Assessment
Activities across the following areas are carried out and graded, nurturing the whole child.
Work Education
Practical, productive work that builds dignity of labour and life skills.
Art Education
Visual and performing arts — drawing, painting, music and dance.
Health & Physical Education
Sports, martial arts and roller skating for fitness and discipline.
Grading (Classes I–V)
For students of Classes I to V, term-wise grading is carried out on a 5-point grading scale. Discipline is also assessed on the same scale, based on factors such as attendance, values, and respect for rules and regulations.
